Why Is Oral Hygiene Important?
Depending upon your own dental health, your visit may include diagnostic, preventative or educational services and on average, should be scheduled every six months.
Diagnostic procedures include x-rays, examination, update of medical records and further treatment plans if required.
Preventative treatments include cleaning teeth, application of pit and fissure sealants to avert decay, fluoride application, polish teeth and gold, silver or composite resin fillings or crowns.
Educational services involve instruction and counseling in proper brushing and flossing technique and nutrition.
